A relative late-comer to landscape architecture, UK-born Claire Martin originally aspired to be a dolphin trainer or perhaps even an archaeologist.

But today, as Associate Director at OCULUS in Melbourne and Director of AILA, she’s one of the most respected figures in Australian landscape architecture, and a true Industry Inspiration.

From exploring the earliest days of her professional career to her gratitude, as a non-Indigenous landscape architect, to live in a country with the longest continuing culture in the world, we’re so pleased to feature Claire and a selection of her projects in this month’s edition of FWD>Thinking.
