Fleetwood’s Learning Sessions relaunch with deep economic insights
Fleetwood Urban’s Learning Sessions have returned and we’ve just wrapped up with three informative and social evenings across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
The purpose of Fleetwood’s Learning Sessions is what sets them apart from other industry events. We believe it is important to find topics noteworthy of sharing with our industry. Topics which may not have a direct impact on the day-to-day, yet have the ability to influence both professional and personal decisions.
In August 2019, we relaunched our Learning Sessions series with the timely topic of ‘Global Economic Cycles and their Impact’. An important and engaging theme for anyone interested in understanding global economics and how they impact local markets. Our guests were immersed into a world of history, cycles and trends to assist with navigating today’s constant narrative around the current economic climate.
Our guest speaker, Michael Butler, an entrepreneur with a background in trading and investment across multiple continents delivered a simple to understand, yet, thought-provoking session. With his passion for studying the local and global business impact of key market cycles, Michael shared incredible insights across financial markets, real estate, and commodities. He explored how major cycles operate to produce highs and lows at very specific intervals, irrespective of the fundamentals, noise, or politics going on at the time.
“Very knowledgeable and very informative”
“Your events offer so much gold beyond our immediate industry”
We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback during and after the sessions. Thank you to everyone who attended and we hope to see you at our next Learning Session.
