Longreach™ shines at Diamond Creek – a true ‘Win Win’

Community has never been more important than it is right now. That’s why we’re pumped to announce Fleetwood Urban was recently appointed to another major Victorian contract by Nillumbik Shire Council. The project will see us deliver three new Longreach™ bridges at Diamond Creek in Melbourne’s north-east. It’s an exciting win for us. But it’s also a huge ‘win’ for the residents of Diamond Creek as there are currently no bridges and only limited paths around their local creek, most of which are in poor condition.

Works are scheduled to begin very soon, with Nillumbik Shire Council taking the lead on upgrading the path network. Simultaneously, Fleetwood will be manufacturing and installing the bridges, based on our popular and highly economical Longreach™ system – ideal for single bridge spans of 15 to 45 metres. When complete, the new bridges will connect three key points along Diamond Creek, bringing safe and much-needed access to the local community for years to come.

The outdoors. It used to be the only place Aussie kids wanted to spend their time. But the digital age has surrounded us with technology at every turn. Screen time is up and green time is down – and the risks are very real.
